As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • The submission file is in the $\LaTeX$ format, using the original style file and the template.
  • In addition to the principal text, the manuscript includes a detailed abstract (200 to 250 words).
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Layout Guidelines.
  • The abstract of the article does not contain references to bibliography and long formulas.

Submission rules

  1. Logical Investigations accepts for submission papers containing original results in all areas of logic. The papers should not have been published or simultaneously submitted to another publication. Manuscripts are accepted for the publication in the journal within the scope of the following sections:
    • Traditinal logic.
    • Symbolic logic (studies of the logical calculi, algebraic logic, model theory, proof theory).
    • Non-classical logics (intuitionist logic, modal logic, multi-valued logic, fuzzy logic, substructural logics, including relevant logic, deontic logic, subjective logic, non-monotonic logic, combimnatorial logic and lambda-calculi, quantum logic, Leśniewski's systems, truth-logic, etc.
    • Philosophy and logic (philosophy of logic, logical philosophy, onthologic).
    • Logic and language (logical analysis of language, formal philosophy of language, linguistic foundations of logic).
    • Applied logic (logic in computer science, artificial intelligence, cognitive sciences, formal epistemology).
    • Theory and practice of argumentation.
    • History of logic.
    • Analitycal overviews.
    • Reviews.
  2. The Editor in Chief makes the decision which of the submitted articles should be published, with due account for opinions of the Editorial Board and the reviewers. The decision is made within two months since the date of submission of the manuscript.
  3. Authors are not charged for the publication.
  4. Publication languages are Russian, English.
  5. Papers should be submitted electronically in the \( \LaTeX \) format. While typesetting a paper, the original style file \( \verb|LIarticle.cls| \), and the template \( \verb|LI_template_eng.tex| \). These materials can be downloaded here.
  6. Tex- and pdf-files and files with pictures are submitted to the editorial office. It is forbidden to use new (entered by the author when typing) command sequences in the \( \verb|LIarticle.cls| \) file.
  7. Papers should not exceed 25 pages in the above mentioned format (including the notes, the bibliography, the abstract).
  8. In addition to the principal text, the manuscript should include the following mandatory elements:
    • Information about the author(s):
      • first and last names of the author;
      • affiliation;
      • full address of the place of work (including the postal code, country and city);
      • author’s e-mail address.
    • article title;
    • abstract (200 to 250 words)
      • The abstract should be an objective representation of the article: it must not contain results which are not presented and substantiated in the main text and should not exaggerate the main conclusions. The abstract should be intelligible to the general reader without reference to the text. After a brief introduction of the topic, the summary recapitulates the key points of the article and mentions possible directions for prospective research. Reference citations should not be included in this section, unless urgently required, and abbreviations should not be included without explanations.
    • keywords (8-10 words/word combinations)
      • Your paper should have appropriate keywords, which will be used to index the paper in various online databases, and helps others to find your paper.
    • the list of works cited.
      • The bibliographical references should be placed at the end of the paper as the general list ordered alphabetically, and formatted in strict accordance with the guidelines of the international bibliographical databases (Scopus and others).

Author fees

Publication in "Logical Investigations" is free of charge for all the authors. The journal doesn't have any Article processing charges. The journal doesn't have any Article submission charges.

The names and email addresses entered on the website of this journal will be used for serious purposes, to denote these magazines, and will not be used for any other purposes or provided to other persons and organizations. The editor-in-chief and his deputies do not disclose information relating to the submitted manuscript to anyone other than its author, reviewers, potential reviewers, assistants to the editor-in-chief and publisher in the prescribed manner.

By submitting a manuscript to the journal, the authors accept the terms of the agreement published on the journal’s website in the form of a public offer.
